I hope this blatant display of ignoring international law is a turning point for. humanity, and that we develop something with teeth. What ever happened to 'Never Again'?

Doesn't apply to brown and black people sadly, the words 'never again' mean 'forever and always'

And should mean for everyone, regardless of the shade of their skin colour.

I'll go further: there is no such thing as law. There is only context.

I mean we can deep dive it for sure! But if 'law' needs threat, there are many 'laws'. How would you describe that in contextual terms? Power dynamics?

Typically, yes.

AYA UK, you've said it all! I agree 100%!

I lived UNDER THE LAW in 4 different countries (including 3 Empires), and have been physically attacked in 3 of them, including by 3 Israeli Phalanges in Paris, and I never saw the "LAW" deliver Justice at all except in minor cases!

Murder is wrong it's also a crime yet murders still happen. Many go unsolved due to lack of evidence. Rape is wrong it's also a crime but rapes still occur. Many go unreported and if they are the victims are seldom believed. And, if by some miracle, the rapist is caught their sentences are minimal. Laws don't prevent bad behavior. They making oppression by the ruling class easier.

In general, most domestic criminal laws are least, do dampen bad behaviour, or should I say 'bad' behaviour as the 'bad' bit is determined by the ruling class, which as you rightly pointed out, makes oppression much easier.

I actually addressed some of the other things here: https://ayauk.substack.com/p/the-demise-of-the-social-contract

I tend to doubt that only because most "crime" is committed either out of desperation, rage/jealousy, or hate/power/ control dynamics. I firmly believe that if we didn't live under the boot of capitalism, most crime would drop considerably. Money/greed or lack thereof/poverty is usually the cause of vast majority of murders and other violent crimes. Emotional triggers can also be rooted somewhat to money too. A wife getting a raise/promotion where she's making more money can certainly trigger a violent response from some men. I also think most laws exist to protect the wealthy from us. I'll definitely give it a read😊

Not been able to understand how usa and isreal manage to bypass national international laws its just beyond comprehension. What's in it for the likes of europe little england or any other state that goes along with usa/isreali law evading antics is it back handers of vast wealth or promises of forever power (now there's a thought) . I'm lost for words but won't stop fighting writing protesting cos that's what the bastards want , more power to your key board.

As long as we can make people aware, and get them to open their eyes, what has been seen cannot be unseen. Keep writing, keeping speaking, keep educating!

Law is meaningless. Enforcement is the only thing that matters.

To use my favorite analogy - an armed robber alwready knows that "thou shalt not steal!" and he does not care. Quote statutes or Bible verses at him and he will laugh, delighted in your impotence.

Hold a loaded Colt Python, a big motherfucker magnum, to that robber's head with the sure knowledge that you will without hesitation pull that trigger, and he will be the one tearfully reciting Scripture, and he will not care one whit whether you have the legal or moral right to spatter his brains on yonder wall.

Excellent piece, Aya. Thanks for describing and documenting the mirage, the cynical farce, of so-called “international law.”

I bought the video decades ago " How to survive a marriage" simply for this clip.(homage to mirage).Incredulous! & spot on. Hide in plain sight. Such a level of arrogance fucking hutzpah its almost admirable.if it were not so lethal for so many innocents for so long. Thanks well done🙏Im in a propaganda belly, holding my breath & praying iexposure starts to shame ignorance out of this smoldering toxic mess. ☮️🙏 God Speed to peace & actual Justice & not"Just us"

Would you let me change that? Once in charge, i will end all arms shipments to Israel AND diplomatic communications and place it under sanctions and an arms embargo. If Israel will still not play nice with others, i will authorize a full invasion of the country.
